Generations of experience
Bushtronix was born in the bush, on the South coast of New South Wales, before moving to Perth at the turn of the millennium.
Now operating from a home workshop in the Perth Hills, our small team draws on almost a century of combined technical experience to keep gear of any vintage going like new.

Gear we know best
Over nearly 50 years in operation our services have specialised, like the skill and experience of our technicians.
Focusing on gear we know keeps the speed, price, and quality of our work competitive in an increasingly miniaturised, computerised, and less repair-friendly sector.
We specialise in:
- Synthesisers and keyboards
- Digital/electric pianos and organs
- Electric guitars and effects pedals
- Guitar and bass amplifiers
- Record players, radiograms, and cassette decks
We don't touch:
- Anything car audio
- TVs, DVD players, game consoles, or AV receivers
- Bluetooth speakers or soundbars
- Audio interfaces or DAW controllers
- PA speakers or karaoke machines
Our prices
We keep our costs down by only quoting repairs likely to exceed your budget.
If we can't repair your gear for less you can collect it for our $75 assessment fee or leave it with us for free.
For time spent working on your gear only.
So we don't spend all day quoting for less.
For field repairs or collection and return.
We suggest budgeting at least $500 for tube amplifiers, and up to $1000 for vintage restorations.
These jobs often require expensive parts and a significant amount of labour.
